Delete your account
Last updated 5 September 2026
You can permanently delete your LineMerge account at any time, from the web or from inside the iOS and Android apps. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You do not need to contact us.
Delete from the web
- Sign in at linemerge.com.
- Go to Dashboard → Account & security → Delete your account.
- Confirm with your password — or, if you sign in with Google, by having signed in with Google in the last few minutes — and your two-factor code if enabled.
Delete from the mobile app
- Open the LineMerge app.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm with your password — or, if you sign in with Google, by having signed in with Google in the last few minutes — and your two-factor code if enabled.
What gets deleted
- Your account, profile, image and settings.
- All connected-calendar OAuth tokens (we also revoke them with the provider where the API allows) and every mirrored event.
- Your booking pages, meeting types, questions, routing and booking history, including bookers' names, emails, phone numbers and answers.
- Client records and insights derived from your bookings.
- Paired phones (Device Bridge), their snapshots and push tokens.
- Calendar feed links and webhooks — they stop working instantly.
- Your session cookies and API keys.
What remains: invoices and payment records that tax and accounting law require us to keep (held by Stripe and in our billing records), and entries in encrypted backups, which expire within 30 days. Events LineMerge already wrote to your own Google or Microsoft calendar stay there; they belong to you. Bookers keep the confirmation emails they received.
Shared things you own
- Subscription: cancelled immediately; no further charges. Unused time is not refunded.
- Household: if you own it, the household and its shared page are deleted; other members keep their own accounts and calendars. Transfer ownership first if they should keep the household.
- Business: if you own it, the business, its page and its members' membership are deleted; members keep their accounts. To keep the business going, email [email protected] first to have it transferred to another member.
- Upcoming bookings: every booking that hasn't happened yet is cancelled, and each person who booked you is emailed that the host has closed their account. If you would rather send your own note, cancel them first from Bookings.
Before you go
Download a full export first: Account & security → Export my data, or GET /v1/me/export with your credentials. If you only want to stop syncing one calendar, disconnect that account instead. If you want to keep the account but stop paying, switch to the Free plan from Billing.
If you booked someone (no account)
Your booking details are held by the host you booked with. Use the cancel link in your confirmation email to cancel, contact the host to have your details removed, or email us and we will help.
