Meeting types: duration, buffers, approval, questions

Each type is its own link with its own rules.

  • Duration and slot interval: how long, and how far apart start times are offered.
  • Buffers hold travel or write-up time on either side without showing it to the booker.
  • Minimum notice stops same-minute bookings; daily cap limits how many per day; booking window limits how far ahead (up to 60 days).
  • Require my approval turns bookings into requests you accept or decline (with a note).
  • Address or details go into confirmations, the invite and the calendar event's location. For phone and in-person types the booker's phone number is required.
  • Where it happens (in-person types): at your address, or at the booker's — you travel to them. With the second, the booking form asks for the address, and the page marks the days you are already in that area so a client in San Jose picks your San Jose day rather than your Oakland one. "Already there" is judged from the city in the locations on your calendar events and bookings, so keep addresses on your events. Bookers only ever see "nearby" or "elsewhere" for a day — never where you are.
  • Questions: up to three short ones, shown after name and email. Answers appear in your inbox, email and calendar event.
