A group session lets several people book one time slot; weekly repeats let one booker take the same time for 2 to 8 weeks. Both are settings on a meeting type: open Meeting types and create or edit one.
Group sessions: Spots per slot
Set Spots per slot above 1 (up to 500) and the type becomes a group session: several people can book the same start time until it is full, and the booking page shows how many spots are left. Your other meeting types still can't overlap it.
- Your calendar gets one event for the session, not one per attendee, and you get one reminder per session.
- Each attendee gets their own confirmation and calendar invite, with the join link when the location has one.
- Zoom isn't offered on group types yet; use a custom location with your own meeting link.
Weekly repeats: Allow weekly repeats
Tick Allow weekly repeats and the booking form gains a Repeat weekly choice: just this once, or 2 to 8 weeks at the same time. It suits standing calls, lessons and check-ins.
- Each week is checked on its own. Weeks where the time isn't free (you're busy, the slot is full, or it falls past the booking window) are skipped and listed on the booker's confirmation; the other weeks are still booked.
- Each week is its own booking, with its own confirmation and its own links to move or cancel it. If the type requires your approval, each week arrives as a request.
- One click confirms the series. With booker email confirmation on, the booker gets one email, and confirming it confirms every week.
